About Us

Educatalyst was started in 2007 with a vision of creating unique and rewarding learning experience for every student. At Educatalyst, we believe that each student is different and teaching should be personalized to suit the student’s aptitude. This is the founding principle of Educatalyst.
Having experienced classroom teaching, we work on solving the problems that remain unaddressed in the classroom and enhance the learning process for the student. We have duly accredited, trained and experienced faculty. Our teachers are ex-/in-service teachers in reputed International schools in various capacities and have various certifications from Cambridge and IBO to their credit, such as CIDTT, Level 1 – 3 workshop certifications by IBDP, online training by CIE, numerous face to face training events organised by CIE and IBO in India and abroad. We ensure that the learning process for the student is enhanced by our proprietary learning resources which are continuously updated.
We specialize in personalized coaching for checkpoint assessment for Cambridge lower secondary curriculum, A level and IGCSE and IBDP assessments. We provide end-to-end support and counseling from conceptualization to final draft preparation for internal assessments. We also offer coaching for SAT and have external partners who help students with the application process.

From the Co-founder’s desk:

When I was working as a teacher with an International School in Mumbai, I realized that while it was very easy to set up infrastructure for International learning programs, the real test lied in the delivery of the program. And delivery almost completely depended on the human resources.
With the help of a few like-minded teachers, we set up Catalyst Learning Centre, now known as Educatalyst), to reach out to as many students as possible and help them derive the most out of these learning programs. From a modest batch size of 20 to our three learning centres in Juhu, Bandra and Mulund, we are proud to have helped hundreds of students realize their dreams. Our office walls are replete with stories of A* and As. We are proud to see our students studying in some of the best universities in the US and working for some of the biggest organizations of the world.
However, the most satisfactory experiences that I have had are with students who were written off as poor performers by the school teachers and were forced to take up core curriculum or drop off subjects because of low grades. Through our personalized coaching and proprietary learning materials, we were able to help several such students turn around their grades. Over the years, we have also worked with students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. Using these experiences, we have now developed and offer special coaching processes for such students.
We also like to keep the parents involved in this learning process. We continuously provide feedback on the students’ academic progress and seek feedback on our services. We believe that this 360-feedback mechanism helps us improve constantly and stay relevant despite the ever-increasing coaching and tuition centers for international programs.
We are currently based out of Mumbai; however we have been providing need-based online and offline services in other cities in India and abroad.
Our endeavor is to educate and to excelerate as many students as possible.

Co-Founder, Educatalyst

“The only purpose of education is to teach a student how to live his life — by developing his mind and equipping him to deal with reality. The training he needs is theoretical, i.e., conceptual. He has to be taught to think, to understand, to integrate, to prove. He has to be taught the essentials of the knowledge discovered in the past — and he has to be equipped to acquire further knowledge by his own effort.” —Ayn Rand
